About Me
Welcome!
In this space you will learn about me; my educational background, career growth, family and hobbies.
I am 37, married to my husband Jeff for 9 years and I have a 6 year old daughter. Currently I am Coordination Advisor for Health Promotion at the Central Regional Cancer Program in Newmarket, Ontario.

I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Equity Studies and Diversity. I followed those 5 years with another 3 at George Brown College and completed an Advanced Health Sciences Diploma as a Hearing Instrument Practitioner.
After my daughter was born, I decided I needed a career change so I took the next 2 years to reimagine my short and long term goals.

Through this time I learned that career paths are not always linear and change, while hard, is a sign of growth. I realized I wanted to stay in healthcare and so my new career journey began. I truly love the work I am currently involved in and have set my sights on a leadership position in healthcare.
In my personal time, my family and I LOVE to travel. We have been to Europe, Asia, the Middle East and most recently travelled to Bali and Singapore in February - one word, unbelievable. I also enjoy spending time with friends, reading books, cooking and baking.
